Jason Getchell's Portfolio - Build-Up Videos

The Core 'Build-Up' technique comes from pairing sequencing and virtual cameras, to create compelling animations that illustrate the construction of the 3D models, worlds, and creations by the Core community. As the tool became more advanced, so did the attempts at using it to create impactful narratives using Core's 'machinema' capabilities.

This video took the build-up tool to new heights, using multi-directional assembly to build-up the mech parts.

This may be my favorite Core video that I've made...ever. There's something about the holiday whimsey, the set, and the very end that makes me chuckle every time I watch it.

This video took a darker tone during production than was initially expected. Leaning into that tone allowed for a greater emotional response from viewers.
